Should you snatch up Google Snatch and the free click traffic formula?

Google Snatch Ebook

So there has been a bit of hype around cyberspace about a new ebook product called Google Snatch. I have decided to review the product for myself and write a product review in order to help people determine if the Google Snatch product is for them.

So basically what is Google Snatch? It is a $97, 120 page downloadable ebook (last 20 pages are links to directory sites) that outlines some strategies for acquiring ongoing streams of traffic and monetizing that traffic. It claims that its free click traffic formula can create tremendous amounts of traffic using an undisclosed hidden Google secret. Not true there is no such hidden secret! The lengthy sales page uses some very captivating sales copy but goes a little overboard and sensationalizes the free click formula it promotes to the extent that it is actually doing the product a disfavor.

WordPress 2.2 Permalink Trailing Slash & Duplicate Pages Issues

wordpress logoI was upgrading one of my client’s WordPress blog today and although the upgrades went without a hitch, I did manage to discover a potential troublesome issue; WordPress is now dropping the trailing slash ( / ) from URLs.

Let me illustrate this:

Prior to WordPress version 2.2, the URL would look something like this:

Directory Owners … Incredibly Bright People, Doing Incredibly Stupid things!

You know, it not too often that I take a little bit of time to actually rant about something near and dear to my heart, but today I’ve decided it was time.

During my online travels, I see webmasters building fancy and compelling designs in order to captivate surfers and build a lasting brand. Are they succeeding? Well let’s look at few aspects of online brand building before we dive into what is perhaps the most underutilized branding method today.

The first thing I would like to address is what I call “on-site brand building”, this is where webmasters and designers incorporate the actual brand into their page.
